maybe they don't have.
Shake Shack is always fantastic. This location seems a little more off the main strip from others, so it’s a little quieter and less busy. As Americans living in Japan, we were just craving good American burgers, so, we went twice in a week. Both times we found a seat inside and both times there was no line, unlike other locations we’d been to in the area. Definitely worth the trip.
Location was a little bit far from the train station but it was easy to find. I ordered the shroom burger ¥960 before tax (just the burger, not set). The cute little burger was not sufficient to fill my hangry belly. Presentation of the burger was excellent. Taste was mediocre as it felt very greasy. Service was great. The young girl at the cashier was sweet looking and polite. Overall the cute little burger was pleasing to my eyes.
This place needs no introduction. Shroom burger is my personal favourite. Crispy and soft at the same time mushroom cap makes it the best veggie burger out there. New green chilly burger is good. I want especially note the cheese. It’s perfect. The only negative thing I have to say is about the ale. It tastes like shampoo. The foam looks like shampoo too.
My first Shake Shack. In Shinjuko. Hard to find even after using Google Maps. Staff are friendly. In&Out is still tastier and better overall for me.
Food is delicious! Not the best location for a restaurant but it’s one of the only good ones around the area. Prices aren’t anywhere near cheap though. I was surprised with the total amount of what I’ve ordered in the picture, but it was a great experience. Staff was friendly too and attentive when you need it.
It’s great!!!!!Love the homemade lemonade! The food was brilliant and we defiantly will come again.
Almost a perfect burger. Thick shakes are great too. Little pricey but worth a visit
My final Shake Shack in Tokyo and it's probably my least favorite - only because the restaurant dining room feels a bit cramped. There is outdoor seating, but that wasn't useable on the cold fall day I visited. Otherwise, very good!
I've never been to a stateside store location, so I can't make a comparison on that regard. However, it's probably one of the better burgers I've read about Tokyo. There's Japan only specials such as a black sesame shake which is a respite from overly sweet desserts. If you're craving a milkshake from home I'd certainly recommend it. In addition, my burger came with bacon which I was also thrilled to discover was also an authentic haste of home.Of course, because it's an import brand to Japan, be prepared to wait. This might even include waiting first to order than to sit, then for your food, so don't visit if you're in a rush.
Super delicious! best burgers and chips in the world to me! always come to eat when I visit Tokyo!
Just a normal Shake Shack in Shinjuku. The staff are nice and when I was there, I heard them take English orders just fine. Menu is available in both Japanese and English. There are seats towards the back of the restaurant but you really can't tell how many until you get back there. For the location, there's just enough to too few seats. The wait can be a bit long too, especially if you see a lot of people waiting for takeout.
